Paris Air Show was held on 18th June 2019, Qatar Airways is voted the World’s Best Airlines. Previous year, Singapore Airlines was at the number one spot and this year falling to second place in line and the third place is ANA All Nippon Airways.
Qatar Airways embraced the top award being named the World’s Best Airline, together with awards for the World’s Best Business Class, the World’s Best Business Class Seat and the Best Airline in the Middle East.

Becoming the first airlines to be named as ‘Airline of the Year’ for the fifth time is a remarkable achievement and together with three other major Skytrax Awards, it is seriousness to the hard work of the whole Qatar Airways team. It is a proud moment for airlines as our continuous innovation and service standards set benchmark in our industry.” said, Mr Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive.

What I noticed from the top 10 list, Garuda Airlines is out from top 10 list and replaced with Qantas Airways in top 10. Previous year, Qantas Airways was at number 11. Founded in the Queensland outback in 1920, Qantas has grown to be Australia’s largest domestic and international airline.
Meanwhile, my favorite airline, Air Asia is voted World’s Best Low-Cost Airlines for the 11th time in a row. “No airline has won 11 times in a row. Congrats to all our Allstars from India to Japan”, wrote Mr Tony Fernandes in his instagram post today.
